I see now how our teasing must have felt for you, and I can only imagine how it affected your confidence and trust in us as friends. Looking back, our words were thoughtless and hurtful. It’s so easy to get caught up in joking around, but that doesn’t justify how we made you feel. You deserve better from us, and I'm truly sorry for being part of that negativity. Moving forward, I want to commit to being a better friend—not just to you, but to everyone in our group. I’m going to be more mindful of what I say and how it might impact others.
